Police say that I-76 in Arvada, Colorado, was closed for hours on Friday morning due to an incident involving a truck hauling “too much beer.”
The incident occurred during the Friday morning rush hour on eastbound I-76 in Arvada.
The Arvada Police Department said that the incident involved a “beer truck improperly loaded.”
Images shared by police show a truck with a collapsed trailer parked partially on the shoulder of the roadway.
Police warned drivers to expect a full closure of eastbound I-76 following the morning rush hour.
Drivers are advised to take an alternate route: I-70 to Sheridan or Federal, then to North to I-76.
“Too much beer is never a good thing,” Arvada Police said.
