Deer goes clear through truck cab after being flung into air by pickup

A truck driver is okay after a deer was flung straight through his truck cab after being struck by a passing pickup. 

The accident happened on Friday, November 11th at around 12:45 p.m. on Highway 136 near Livonia, Missouri. 

According to KTVO News, a pickup truck was heading east on Highway 136 when the female driver struck a deer in the road. The force of the impact sent the deer flying into the air and straight into the cab of a passing semi truck. The deer came crashing through the rig’s windshield and made it all the way through the day cab and back out through the rear windshield. 

The truck driver, 50-year-old Jamison Harbison, sustained minor injuries in the incident. He was taken to a nearby hospital but is expected to be okay. The pickup driver was not hurt.
