Kicking off Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) proudly recognizes and thanks driver C. Alexander Dixon for his dedication to the industry.

By taking on a demanding and essential job, truck drivers like Dixon ensure that our country continues moving forward.

KAG proudly pays their respect to Dixon and all professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment to delivering the goods and resources necessary in making everyday life possible for all Americans.

C. Alexander Dixon is from Hannibal, MO, and has been in the trucking industry for 19 years.  After following in his father’s footsteps in law enforcement, reaching the rank of Assistant Police Chief as a Lieutenant, Dixon transitioned career paths to trucking.

In 2003, Dixon graduated from John Wood Community College Truck Driving School in Quincy, IL. He pulled flat beds and hopper bottoms for 15 years and began pulling tankers in 2018.

In May of 2021, Dixon joined KAG, hauling food-grade products.  Dixon has since become a driver trainer at KAG, even winning a company recruiting contest.

“Being in the trucking industry and working with KAG had truly been a blessing to me and my family. I’ve seen a lot of ups and downs in the industry but still enjoy being a part of it,” said Dixon.

In his spare time, Dixon enjoys spending time with his wife and four adult children. He also spends time playing his drum kit and is very active in his local volunteer fire department as a firefighter and emergency medical responder.

“I’m not certain what the future holds for the trucking industry but for now I love sharing the road with my fellow drivers doing my part to keep America moving.”
