Driver cited for speeding after truck rollover in Boston tunnel, incident caught on traffic cam

Massachusetts State Police (MSP) say that a driver was ticketed following an accident in the Ted Williams Tunnel that caused major delays during the morning commute in Boston on Tuesday.

State police say that a truck overturned around 5:20 a.m. on the westbound Massachusetts Turnpike through the Ted Williams Tunnel near Exit 135.

The driver of the truck, a 28 year old Methuen, Massachusetts resident, was not injured.

MSP said that the driver was cited for speeding.

The Ted Williams Tunnel fully reopened by 9 a.m., but heavy traffic delays were reported in the area.

The rollover was captured on Massachusetts Department of Transportation traffic cameras.
