Driver killed by own load of lumber

A truck driver is dead after being struck by his own load of lumber in Michigan on Wednesday. 

The accident happened on October 26th in Grandville, Michigan at around 11 a.m. at Standale Lumber in Grandville. 

According to Detroit Free Press, 51-year-old Levi Linton’s trailer of lumber was being unloaded when some of it fell, striking Linton and killing him. 

Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident, police said.
