A truck driver won $1 million in the lottery after purchasing tickets on a whim in Oregon this month.
On November 7th, 82-year-old Brooks Keebey bought $10 in Powerball tickets on a whim as the jackpot rose. The following day, one of his tickets turned out to be a match for all five numbers, missing only the powerball.
Keebey says he will use the money to pay property taxes, buy his wife a used Cadillac, and fund the rest of his retirement.
“I’m not greedy,” Keebey said when asked if he was disappointed he didn’t win the full jackpot, reported KGW8 News.
