Driver strips, rants, and drives away

Published:

A truck driver stripped off his clothes, went on a rant, and drove away in his rig in Georgia on Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred on the morning of November 1st in Savannah, Georgia.

According to WTOC 11 News, truck driver Kenneth Morman backed his semi truck onto the sidewalk in front of City Hall on Tuesday morning, blocking a portion of Bay Street. Morman then climbed out of his truck, pulled off his pants and underwear, tossed his clothing onto the building steps, and went on a screaming rant, during which he walked into the street. Morman then got back into his rig and drove off.

Witnesses were able to capture video of the incident to show police. Savannah Police eventually located Morman and pulled him over on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officers performed a field sobriety test determined he was under the influence of drugs. Officers say during the encounter, Morman appeared to be upset about something to do with his ex wife, someone who works at City Hall, or something involving the two, and was clearly under the influence of drugs.

When asked, Morman told officers he was on his way to the child support office to get his CDL “straightened out.”

Morman has been charged with terrorist threats, disorderly conduct, DUI,  driving with suspended license, impeding traffic, and driving on sidewalk.
