Driver stuck in Smugglers’ Notch had warrant for cocaine possession

A truck driver was arrested for cocaine possession after getting stuck on Smugglers’ Notch in Vermont on Tuesday. 

The incident occurred on October 25th in Cambridge, Vermont along Smugglers’ Notch on Notch Road. 

According to WCAX 3 News, 31-year-old Kevin Foster drove past several ‘No Truck’ signs on Route 103 just before 3 p.m. before reaching the peak where he stopped. Authorities then guided Foster back down from the peak.

Foster was issued a $1,200 ticket for the incident, but was found to have an active warrant for cocaine possession. He was cited and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
