Dramatic drone video captured in Montana shows a large number of trucks that were stranded due to weather related road closures.
On Wednesday night, harsh winter weather forced transportation officials to close Highway 212.
This road closure caused hundreds of commercial truck drivers to be stranded overnight in Broadus, Montana.
The town’s assistant fire chief Clint Pedersen used a drone to capture the scope of the situation.
In the news report from KRTV below, you can see how the small community of less than 500 people came together to help the stranded truckers. According to the report, a local church opened its doors and provided cots and meals for truckers who were stuck overnight.
