Eight injured in wreck involving three semis, multiple cars

A portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike was shut down on Monday afternoon after a crash involving multiple tractor trailers and cars left eight people injured. 

The accident happened on June 6th on eastbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike just east of the Downingtown exit. 

According to Fox 29 Philadelphia, the crash involved at least three tractor trailers and at least one car. A cab from one of the semi trucks could be seen detached from the frame and one car was trapped beneath one of the trucks. 

At least eight people were injured, but their current conditions have not been released. The Turnpike was shut down until around 3:30 p.m. No further information has been released.
