On Tuesday, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) announced the discovery and seizure of a large amount of cocaine from a commercial vehicle.
The FHP’s Orlando Division announced the drug seizure with a tweet on Tuesday afternoon.
The agency said that 50 kilos of cocaine were located in a semi truck parked at a storage unit in the Orlando area.
FHP said that the estimated street value of the seized drugs is $5 million.
Troopers said that the drug seizure happened in partnership with K9 Rico and the DEA.
No further information was immediately available.
