Four injured after slamming into side of tractor trailer at high speeds

Four people were hurt on Thursday night after striking the side of a semi truck at a high rate of speed.

The accident happened on November 10th at about 10 p.m. near Aldine Bender and Henry road on the northside of Houston, Texas.

According to News4SanAntonio, a semi truck was pulling out of a parking lot and was across all lanes of the roadway when a red car traveling at a high rate of speed approached the truck and smashed into the side of it. The force of the impact pushed the car beneath the trailer, where it was dragged 50 yards.

All four men inside of the car had to be extricated from the mangled vehicle. All four were taken to a hospital, and two were in serious condition.

Police are investigating. It is unclear if alcohol was a factor, and police have not determined who was at fault.
