Traffic was disrupted in Dallas on Wednesday after a giant piece of AC equipment was knocked from a tractor trailer on Interstate 35.
The incident happened on July 20th at around 3:30 p.m. on eastbound I-35 in Dallas’ Stemmons Corridor.
According to the Dallas-Morning News, the semi truck was traveling beneath the railroad bridge near Commonwealth Drive when the air plenum was knocked from the trailer, causing it to fall onto the highway.
An air plenum is a part used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
No injuries were reported, but the piece of equipment blocked the center lanes of the highway until a heavy duty wrecker was able to respond to the scene. The piece was then moved to an exit lane where it was lifted onto another truck and hauled away.
The scene was cleared and traffic returned to normal at around 5 p.m. No further information has been released.
