Authorities in Oklahoma say that at least one person died in a multi-vehicle crash in Noble County yesterday after smoke from a grass fire caused low visibility conditions.
The crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon on I-35 near Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

According to reports, a nearby grass fire triggered reduced visibility conditions and contributed to a crash that the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) described as a “large crash involving several semis, motor homes, and passenger vehicles.”

News9 reports that the crash involved four semi trucks, two mobile homes, and two commercial vehicles.
Authorities confirmed that one person died in the crash.
It isn’t clear how many people were injured.
Both directions of I-35 were closed for hours but have since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
