A fallen highway sign caused traffic backups in South Carolina on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened on December 12th at around 12 p.m. on Interstate 77 south in Fort Mill.
According to CBS 17, the semi truck was traveling on I-77 near exit 90 at Carowinds Boulevard when its load struck a highway sign, pulling the entire sign scaffolding down onto the highway. A vehicle traveling behind the semi truck was struck by the falling structure, but no one was hurt.
The truck was operated by Superior Cranes. The road was reopened and the sign was fully cleared by 4 p.m. that day.
