Iowa DOT Motor Vehicle Enforcement (MVE) recently highlighted a trailer haul that they say is unusual but actually not illegal.
On December 7, Iowa DOT MVE shared a Facebook post featuring photos of a driver’s inventive DIY trailer hauling solution along with the caption, “Not a setup you see every day…”
While many of the Iowa DOT MVE posts bring attention to CMV violations, officials said that there’s actually nothing wrong with this one.
When a Facebook user asked if the setup was illegal, the agency responded:
“It actually is not so long as it is structurally sound. See, not everything we post is illegal! This is just creative!”
