Iowa troopers catch Hummer driver’s houseboat hauling mishap

A Hummer driver hauling an unusual load was involved in a crash over the weekend.

The crash occurred on the morning of Sunday, November 6, near Osceola, Iowa.

According to the Iowa State Patrol (ISP), a motorist behind the wheel of a Hummer was hauling a houseboat along I-35 when the vehicle crashed and came to rest with the houseboat partially blocking the interstate while the Hummer rolled over on the shoulder.

No injuries were reported.

“It’s not very often that you work a crash involving a houseboat along I-35 (no injuries),” ISP said.

Other Iowa residents reported spotting the Hummer driver prior to the crash.
