Man arrested for stealing 1,425 gallons of diesel from employer and selling it to truckers

Police in Louisiana arrested a man after he was caught stealing and selling diesel fuel.

Thirty-two year old Justin Price was arrested on Wednesday, August 17,v and booked into Caddo Correctional Center.

He was charged with illegal possession of stolen things, according to a news release from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.

On July 21, Price’s employer contacted police and accused him of stealing 1,425 gallons of diesel fuel from worksites in Desoto and Sabine Parishes between June 26 and July 17.

The employer also claimed that Price sold the stolen diesel fuel to semi truck drivers in Caddo Parish, Louisiana.

After Price’s employer filed theft reports in Desoto and Sabine Parish, they hired a private investigator, who was able to record video evidence of Price stealing fuel.

Price’s bond was set at $25,000.
