“Misjudged curve” leads to wreck between semi, dump truck

Published:

A lapse in judgment led to a wreck between a dump truck and a semi truck in Pennsylvania on Thursday morning.

The accident happened on March 10th at around 6:25 a.m. in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

According to Northampton Daily Voice, a semi truck was traveling south on Belvidere-Martins Creek Highway and Route 611 when it “misjudged the curve” and ran into a dump truck stopped at a stop sign. The truck then skidded into a nearby field for about 75 feet before finally coming to a stop.

The dump truck driver suffered only minor injuries in the wreck and was treated on scene. No other injuries were reported. It is not clear what citations, if any, were issued as a result of the incident.
