Motorcyclist smacks into back of trailer turning into Flying J

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after driving into the back of a tractor trailer while turning into a Pilot Travel stop this week. 

The accident happened on Wednesday, July 27th at the Pilot Flying J in Joplin, Missouri at about 6 p.m. 

According to KOAM News, both the tractor trailer and motorcycle were heading west on 32nd Street when the tractor trailer began to turn right into the travel plaze. The motorcycle then slammed into the back of the trailer, seriously injuring the rider. 

The motorcyclists was then transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. No further information has been released.
