Michigan State Police (MSP) are investigating a Tuesday afternoon semi truck vs. car crash that occurred near a weigh station in Jackson County.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on October 18 on westbound I-94 in Grass Lake Township, Michigan.
MSP said that a the initial investigation indicates that a 40 year old motorist crashed into the rear of a semi truck as the truck driver slowed to enter a weigh station.
The motorist has been taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
MSP is investigating the crash.
