A motorist was trapped inside of their vehicle for over an hour after a semi truck tipped over during a turn and landed on top of the car.
The accident happened on Wednesday, December 21st in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
According to 7 News, the semi truck was attempting a right turn onto Blackstock Road when it tipped over. The rig then landed on a Mustang waiting in the left turn lane at the traffic light at Blackstock Road.
The truck driver was briefly trapped inside of their cab but was not hurt. The driver of the Mustang was trapped inside of her car for over an hour, but was able to speak with responders as they worked to free her. She was then transported to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The truck driver was issued a citation for the incident.
