Nebraska cops looking for suspect after stolen semi truck ‘exploded’

The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is asking for tips from the public after a stolen truck was found heavily damaged by an apparent explosion.

Around 3:40 a.m. on October 27, MCSO responded to Stranburg Park located in Merrick County, Nebraska, after receiving a report of a “loud explosion and fire.”

When officers arrived on scene, they found a red 2006 International 9900i semi was located and fully engulfed in flames.

Photos shared by MCSO show heavy damage to the truck.

Investigators believe that the truck was stolen out of Hordville, Nebraska, and driven to Stranburg Park.
