No arrests have been made after an early morning wreck that killed a truck driver in Queens early on Wednesday. 

The accident happened just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9th in the Queens neighborhood of New York City.

According to the New York Post, a 49-year-old trucker was outside of his rig after parking in an eastbound lane of Grand Avenue near 57th Street when a sedan heading west on Grand Avenue crossed the double yellow line and struck him. 

The sedan then crashed into the parked tractor trailer. The trucker sustained “multiple injuries” in the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan stayed on the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. 

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning.
