No one injured in three-rig crash that shut down I-78 for eight hours 

A crash involving three semi trucks shut down a Pennsylvania highway for eight hours early on Monday morning. 

The accident happened before 3 a.m. in Lower Saucon Township, Pennsylvania on August 1st. 

According to 6 ABC, at least two tractor trailers jackknifed and one went into an embankment on Interstate 78 westbound between Route 33 and Route 412 near the Hellertown exit. 

No injuries were reported and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.  The interstate was reopened at about 10 a.m., almost eight hours after the initial crash. No further information has been released.
