Near I-75 and Alexis Road, the motorist reportedly turned around and began driving south on northbound I-75.

The motorist struck two northbound semi trucks, causing one of the trucks to catch fire.

The motorist and a passenger did not survive the crash. Police have not yet released their identities.

The two truck drivers, Jody Cicero, 50, and Jason Butler, 24, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
