One dead in pickup vs. semi truck crash 

One person is dead after a pickup truck crashes head on into a semi truck in Utah on Tuesday morning. 

The accident happened on December 20th in Box Elder County near Logan, Utah at around 1 a.m. 

According to KSLTV News, the pickup truck was heading west on Route 30 when it crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with the semi truck head on. 

The force of the collision killed the pickup driver on impact. The 24-year-old trucker was hospitalized with non life threatening injuries. 

Both directions of SR 30 were shut for several hours as crews worked to investigate the incident and clear the wreckage. Troopers are still working to identify the cause of the wreck.
