One man dead, another hurt, following gunfight at Tiger Truck Stop

Authorities have released more information on a shooting that occurred at a popular Louisiana truck stop on Thanksgiving.

The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. on November 24 at the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete, Louisiana.

According to WBRZ, a fight broke out in the truck stop parking lot, which led to a shootout during which as many as 50 rounds were fired.

The Iberville Sheriff’s Office says it is believed that two brothers began shooting and then another person returned fire.

Both brothers were struck by gunfire.

One of the brothers, Demore Dante Debose, 29, later died. His brother survived with injuries.

The unidentified person who shot Debose and his brother is reportedly cooperating with police.
