One seriously injured in cement truck’s crash into toll booth

A toll worker has been seriously injured in a crash involving a semi truck in Florida on Monday. 

The incident happened on September 19th in Collier County, Florida. 

Fox 4 reports that the empty cement truck plowed into a toll plaza on Interstate 75 near Alligator Alley in Collier County. 

There is at least one toll plaza attendant suffering from serious injuries. They were flown to a nearby hospital. Two passengers in a car were also taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The truck driver’s condition has not been released.

Some eastbound lanes of I-75 have been closed for damages. No further information has been released.
