The crash was reported around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, at a railroad crossing at Prospect Avenue in Clarendon Hills.

Authorities say that a Metra BNSF train en route to Chicago hit a semi truck stuck on the tracks.

At least one train passenger was killed. Four others traveling on the train were injured.
