Pedestrian crushed beneath overturned trailer

A pedestrian was rescued after becoming trapped beneath an overturned trailer in Seattle on Wednesday morning.

The accident happened in the Judkins Park neighborhood of Seattle, Washington on June 8th.

According to King 5 News, a semi truck hauling doubles was turning left from South Dearborn Street onto northbound Rainier Avenue S when the rear trailer overturned, pinning a 67-year-old woman underneath. A second woman, approximately 70-years-old, managed to jump out of the way of the trailer, but sustained minor injuries in the process.
