Pennsylvania troopers investigate diesel fuel theft

Published:

Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are investigating the theft of hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel from a gas station.

The alleged diesel fuel theft occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on May 18 at Krevetski’s Convenience Store located in East Wheatfield Township, Pennsylvania.

According to PSP, two semi trucks were spotted pulling into the fueling area and then driving off towards SR 22 a few minutes later.

The gas station reported a loss of 210 gallons of diesel worth approximately $1,279.

PSP says that suspects tampered with the fuel pumps in order to steal diesel fuel.

PSP is seeking information on the trucks spotted at the gas station. PSP describes the vehicles as “red truck tractor with a sleeper cab and a blue truck tractor with a sleeper cab.” Both vehicles were hauling a white box trailer.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Troop A, Indiana, at 724-357-1960.
