PHOTOS: Truck gets struck hauling yacht to new home

A truck got stuck in Missouri on Wednesday while hauling a yacht to its new home in New York.

The incident happened on October 26th in Springfield, Missouri.

According to Springfield News-Leader, the truck got stuck in the mud when it swung wide on an on-ramp at State Highway NN and US Highway 60.

The truck, which previously ran as a dinner charter boat near Branson, Missouri, was purchased by a New York company in late July and will be transported to Mississippi before it is hauled to its final destination in New York Harbor in Manhattan, reported Branson TriLake News.

The incident on State Highway NN and US Highway 60 is not the first hiccup in the boat’s journey. The truck hauling the boat out of the water in Branson had to be towed out of the water because of the weight of the boat. Two tow trucks worked to pull the truck hauling the boat out of the water in a process that took approximately an hour.
