Police searching for truck that caused $18k in damages

Police are searching for information on a truck that caused nearly $20,000 in damages in Wisconsin late last month.

The incident happened on May 30th between 8 a.m. and 8:22 a.m. on Interstate 41 in Washington County.

According to We Are Greenbay News, the truck began driving along the median of Interstate 41 southbound, where it struck median cable barriers and continued driving over approximately 120 posts and a quarter mile of cable.

The truck then fled the scene without contacting authorities, leaving behind an estimated $18,000 in damages just south of Highway 144.

The box truck is described as having damage to the front driver’s side headlights, and even lost a rear outside wheel on the driver’s side.  Authorities are currently searching for the truck and driver responsible so that the driver or company can be held accountable for the damages.

Anyone with information on the box truck is asked to call 262-335-4411.
