A truck driver is in custody after stealing a cash register from a gas station in Michigan early on Sunday morning.
The robbery happened on June 26th just before 1:30 a.m. in Luna Pier, Michigan at the Sunoco at 4180 Luna Pier Road.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, the man performed the armed robbery and then fled the scene with the cash register. Michigan State Police then used a drone and K9 to search the area and decided that the man had not gotten far.
Officers then began checking semi trucks parked in the truck parking lot and eventually found that a man in one of the rigs was responsible for the robbery.
The 41-year-old man from Toledo, Ohio was arrested. No further information has been released.
