A major racing team’s hauler was involved in a crash in Texas on Tuesday morning while the vehicle was en route to a weekend racing event.
David Gilliland Racing confirmed that the No. 17 ARCA team transporter was involved in a crash near Longview, Texas.
The hauler was en route to Arizona for the ARCA Menards Series Friday night event at Phoenix Raceway.
“DGS and driver Taylor Gray’s participation in Friday’s event will be determined at a later time,” the team said via Twitter.
A fatal crash involving a CMV has been reported on I-20 in the Longview, Texas, area, but it isn’t clear if this is the crash involving the DGR team.
