Reliable Energy Creates Reliable Careers

Everyone deserves access to clean, affordable energy — and providing that access depends on people in rewarding careers working with propane.

The composition of our nation’s workforce is changing, and the demand for reliable, environmentally friendly energy is growing. That makes this an ideal time to pursue a career in the propane industry.

The Propane Education & Research Council is committed to finding, training, and employing the next generation of the propane workforce. We’re helping our industry partners recruit talent for a wide range of career opportunities, including delivery and transport drivers, service technicians, customer service representatives, and more.

Drivers are in high demand; we have two key roles in the industry with many open positions across the country:

Delivery Drivers

As a local propane delivery driver, you’ll be taking propane directly to consumers – homeowners, agricultural producers, businesses, and even fleet operators. Best of all, you’ll spend every night at home.

Transport Drivers

Propane transport drivers keep the industry running. You’ll be delivering bulk loads of propane to individual propane retailers across a regional area, so you’ll need a CDL and willingness to travel.
