Michigan State Police (MSP) responded to a Wednesday morning semi truck crash in Southfield that left a roadway blocked by steel coils.
The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on November 30 in Oakland County, Michigan.
Troopers said that a semi truck hauling a load of steel coils crashed into a median on eastbound I-696 near Telegraph.
The crashed caused the coils to come off the trailer and to roll into both the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-696 during the morning rush hour.
No one was injured.
Around 8:30 a.m., MSP said that it would likely take another 2 to 3 hours to clean up the steel coils and reopen the roadway.
