Georgia police are searching for a suspect who opened fire on a semi truck driver on Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting took place on northbound I-75 north of Wade Green Road in Cobb County, Georgia.

Police say that a person in a vehicle opened fire on a semi truck and then fled the scene.
The truck driver has been transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
The incident temporarily closed all lanes of northbound I-75. All lanes reopened around 1:30 p.m.
Police are searching for the suspect.
