Semi’s crash with low-rider sparks fishy fire

Published:

A semi truck caught fire after crashing into a ‘low rider’ car in Los Angeles in the early hours of Monday morning.

The accident happened on April 25th at 12:52 a.m. on the northbound Golden State Freeway in Los Angeles, California.

According to My News LA, the truck hauling 21,000 pounds of fish struck the blue ‘low rider’ car. The car then blew a tire, spun out, and smashed into the center divider. Both the truck and the car then caught fire.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident, but 3 northbound lanes were shut down for around three hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage. The lanes have since been reopened and the wreckage has been cleared.
