Shifting load of plants bonks trucker

A truck driver was hurt after a rack of plants fell on top of him in Virginia on Thursday afternoon. 

The incident happened on June 2nd at around 12:20 p.m. at the Home Depot off Graves Mill Road in Lynchburg. 

According to ABC 13 News, the trucker was attempting to leave the store when the load in his trailer began shifting. The driver got out of his truck and opened the trailer doors to address the issue, and that’s when a rack of plants fell on top of him. 

The fire department was called to the scene. The driver was injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not considered serious and they are expected to be okay.
