“Sneezing fit” sends log truck into pile of stored logs

A truck driver is blaming a “sneezing fit” after crashing into a pile of logs at a mill in Maine on Thursday. 

The accident happened on May 5th at around 11:30 a.m. in Masardis, Maine. 

According to 8 ABC News, truck driver Matthew Carmichael was heading south on Masardis Road hauling cedar logs when he began having a “sneezing fit” and lost control of the truck. Carmichael then went off the right side of the roadway and crashed into a large pile of logs stored at the Daaquam Mill. 

Carmichael sustained minor injuries in the incident and was treated at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The crash is currently under investigation. No further information has been released.
