Washington State Police (WSP) are on the scene of a fiery crash involving a suspected DUI motorist.
The crash occurred Wednesday morning on State Route 18 near Hobart, Washington.
According to WSP Trooper Rick Johnson, “This original collision occurred due to a pickup traveling WB 18 crossing into the EB lanes and hitting the semi causing it to roll. The driver of pickup transported with minor injuries and is also in custody for suspected DUI.”
Shortly after the pickup vs. semi truck crash on eastbound SR 18, a secondary crash involving two semi trucks was reported by WSP on westbound SR 18, west of Tiger Summit, blocking all lanes.
WSP is asking drivers to avoid the area.
