This is the ‘wrong way’ to transport a bunch of vehicles from Minnesota to Texas, Iowa DOT says

Published:

The Iowa Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Enforcement recently caught a driver’s unusual attempt to transport several vehicles.

From Iowa DOT on October 21:

Most of the time there is a right way to do things and a wrong way. If you find yourself in a situation where you want to transport vehicles from Minnesota to Texas for example – please do so the right way.

In addition to many issues and violations of both state and federal code, this company did not not have any valid credentials or paperwork, the bed of the pickup was being held up by a 1″ ratchet strap, the driver did not have a license, let alone a CDL, or a medical card.

Be safe out there! Don’t forget – if you see unsafe or questionable behavior on our roadways do not hesitate to report it!

Iowa DOT shared several photos providing a closer look at the trucks and pickup being transported by the unlicensed driver.
