Tow truck driver crushed and dragged while securing disabled semi truck

A tow truck driver was killed while attempting to secure a disabled semi truck in California on Tuesday.

According to News Channel 3, the 42-year-old tow truck driver was near the intersection of Two Mile Road and Oasis Avenue to tow a disabled semi truck. As he attempted to secure the tractor trailer to the tow truck, the rig slid off the tow truck’s lift. The semi truck then rolled backwards and pulled the tow truck driver under the trailer.
