Trailer slides down ravine, spills boxes of ice cream at the bottom

Published:

The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) recently shared eye-popping images from a frozen treat crash that occurred earlier this week.

In an August 4 Facebook post, Iowa DOT shared a few details about a crash that occurred on August 2.

The agency said that the incident happened on US 20 in Webster County, but didn’t provide many details on what led up to the unusual crash and cargo spill.

“The trailer became separated from the cab of the truck and slid down the ravine,” Iowa DOT stated.

No injuries were reported.

“Clean up on aisle US 20!” A dream come true on a hot summer day in Iowa, if it wasn’t at the bottom of a ravine!” Iowa DOT said.
