The Washington State Patrol (WSP) recently impounded a U-Haul — and the car that it was precariously transporting — following a traffic stop.
The U-Haul was spotted and stopped by WSP Trooper Cunningham on SR 97 at mile marker 290 near Okanogan, Washington.
“I suppose it’s moving season,” WSP quipped in a Tweet sharing photos of the unusual vehicle haul.
In photos shared by WSP, the car inside the U-Haul appears to be secured by a single strap.
According to KXLY, both the U-Haul and the car inside were impounded because the U-Haul driver’s license was suspended and the U-Haul was overdue on the rental.
The outlet reports that the U-Haul driver was cited for failing to secure their load with safety chains, a $139 fine.
