Troopers seek suspect who fired shotgun at semi on Snoqualmie Pass

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is asking for public help in locating a person who opened fire on a moving semi truck last week.

The shooting occurred on January 21, 2022, on Snoqualmie Pass.

Troopers say that a truck was westbound on I-90 at mile marker 32 when a person in a white passenger vehicle fired a shotgun at the truck, striking the passenger side.

Gunfire struck the door of the truck and caused interior damage.

The truck driver wasn’t hurt.

“The victim indicated that he observed a passenger pulling a shotgun back into the vehicle after he heard the gunfire,” WSP said.

WSP did not provide a description of the suspect.

If you have information, you’re asked to contact WSP Detective Olsen at Franklin.Olsen@wsp.wa.gov.
