Louisiana State Police (LSP) are responding to a partially submerged truck in Ascension Parish on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on I-10 near Sorrento, Louisiana.
LSP says that a single vehicle crash involving an 18 wheeler occurred in the westbound lanes of I-10.
Troopers said that the truck driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police say that one lane I-10 is closed both eastbound and westbound as crews are working to remove the partially submerged truck from the bayou below.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Drivers are asked to use extra caution in the area.
