Washington State Police (WSP) say that a tow truck driver lost his life after he was struck by a semi truck near Milton on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on northbound I-5 south of Porter Way (mile marker 139).
WSP Trooper Robert Reyer said that a tow truck driver was hit by a semi truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trooper Reyer added that the semi truck driver had been taken into custody for DUI.

Major traffic delays have been reported in the area. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) advises that the two right lanes of northbound I-5 remain shut down.
